Akon was finally sentenced after he pleaded guilty for throwing a 16 year-old fan down the stage during one of his shows. According to Australia’s News.com, the Senegalese-born rapper got 65 hours of community service and a $250 fine, and will not face any jail time if he completes the program:
“Akon shook hands with the now 16-year-old victim, Anthony Smith, after entering his plea and apologised to him and his parents, but refused to comment on his sentence.”
Wait til he gets the check after the civil suit. I wonder if he’ll want to shake hands with the kid then.
