7-year-old Julian King, Jennifer Hudson’s nephew, was found dead early Monday morning.
The boy had been missing since Friday after his grand-mother and his uncle were shot dead in their South Side, Chicago home. He was believed to have been abducted by the perpetrator who had also stolen his uncle’s SUV
75 year old John Louden was walking his dog at around 7am when he noticed the SUV that belonged to Jennifer’s late brother, parked on the street. He noticed the license matched the one cited on the news and then asked his wife to call the police: “I didn’t look in there. I didn’t touch it. I knew it was a strange vehicle,” Louden said.
Police arrived on the scene less than five minutes after the received the call. They retrieved the child’s lifeless body and towed the truck to have it examined by experts. The man who found the SUV told the media: “I feel bad about that baby.”
His stepfather, William Balfour, is the prime suspect. He is still in custody.
