We haven’t seen the last of him. And we are not complaining!
It’s during Kanye West ’s show at the Madison Square Garden in New York City that Jay Z (whose real name is Sean Carter) performed a snippet of one of his new hits that will apparently be on his next album Blueprint 3.
We first thought Jigga-man’s new album (if there was to be an album) would have been entirely produced by Timbaland when his song “Ain’t I”, produced by Timbo, leaked out early in 2008. When questionned about that, the ROC leader declared that he’d “let the music dictate the direction”.
With Kanye West producing “Jockin’ Jay Z” (which is apparently the first single of the upcoming album), it confirms that even if Timbaland produced some tracks for Jay Z, he won’t be the only producer to get credits on the album.
What the album is going to sound like has yet to be revealed. No doubt in my mind that it will be like all of Hova’s previous records: brilliant.
